Well I guess most of you know who Michael Cheney is by now and I suppose he is now attaining the mantle of a guru with his latest release, the aptly named Michaels Traffic Videos. This product follows along the same lines as the hugely successful AdSense Videos in as much as it uses the medium of video to teach you all about the topic concerned. Obviously from the title this product aims to teach you how to get the most traffic for your website, affiliate promotions or any other internet based business for that matter. There are 11 basic sections comprising a huge total of 50 videos, Michael certainly can not be accused of underdelivering!
Section 1 covers the use of press releases to attract traffic and what is interesting here is that he actually goes into some detail about offline advertising, like local newspapers, magazines etc. Now I haven't actually used the offline approach so can not comment on its effectiveness but the online version certainly works.
Engineer Job
Section 2 is about attaining web traffic through the use of affiliates and for me this is probably the easiest and most economical method by far. The downside may be that you have to have your own product or service but then it is so easy these days to obtain a plr product which you can promote as your own and hence get the traffic and build your list with the affiliate method.
Section 3 covers the most talked about concept in internet marketing today, that of social networking. The videos show you where to go and what to do when you get there! It also shows you how to make sure your website is set up to maximize the traffic from social networking although if I was hyper critical I would say he could have gone into more depth here but it does the job.
Section 4 covers traffic generation using blogs. Michael pretty much sticks to Wordpress but most of the concepts can be applied to other blog systems too. The videos show you not only how to set up your blogs but more importantly the tweaks and tricks you need to perform to make them search engine friendly and hence traffic friendly.
Section 5 covers another massively discussed medium which is that of video traffic. I guess Michael has become something of an expert when it comes to video as anyone who is a member of his sites or newsletters will know. The videos show you the easiest way to make your videos and how to upload them to the relevant sites. However the best part is probably when he shows you the tricks to make sure your videos get the maximum exposure and hence traffic.
Section 6 is about repeat traffic and was of particular interest to me as it showed me where I had been going wrong. These videos show you the best ways to try and get the holy grail of repeat traffic and having your customers coming back again and again.
Section 7 is Pay per Click traffic and although quite a short section is very concise and uses methods similar to those in the ppc bibles AdWords miracle and day job killer. These will improve your efforts unless you are already a ppc guru yourself.
Section 8 is all about search engine traffic. Now while I think he could have gone into a little more detail about search engine optimization here, the subject is so huge he would been at it forever and he does cover the most vital points.
Section 9 is about link traffic. In my opinion this seems to be the forgotten method as very little is talked about it these days so it was good to see Michael give it a thorough going over.
Section 10 is one of the biggest and covers Article traffic. The videos take you from step 1 writing the articles the best way right through all the steps to actually the easiest and quickest way to submitting your articles to the most important sites.
Section 11 is about probably the newest concept along with social networking and that is viral traffic. He gives a pretty good overview of what it is all about and shows you one of the best ways of maximizing it using the "tell a friend method". He uses Viral Friend Generator as an example but there are free versions out there if you are a bit strapped for cash which work the same way.
So there you have it, I apologize that some of the sections are quite short but if I had gone into more depth I would have had to write an ebook as this product is so big. I hope you enjoyed this review nevertheless and hope it helps you decide on the pros and cons of buying Michaels Traffic Videos.
